This is a beautiful German edition of Späte Rosen: Novellen und Gedichte by Theodor Storm, published by C. Bertelsmann Verlag, Gütersloh. Storm was a nineteenth-century German poet and novella writer, best remembered today for Der Schimmelreiter and for his lyric, atmospheric prose rooted in his native Schleswig-Holstein. This edition is in very good condition. The pages are clean, unmarked, and of high quality, though the text is set in Frakturschrift, the old German blackletter typeface. The boards are bound in green cloth, with gilt lettering embossed on the front and spine.
