Landscape of Dreams: The Gardens of Isabel & Julian Bannerman, published by Pimpernel in 2016, is one of the press's standout titles: a scarce hardcover celebrating two of England's most celebrated garden designers. Their commissions include the British 9/11 Memorial Garden in New York, Highgrove for the Prince of Wales, and gardens at Waddesdon Manor, Arundel Castle, and Wormsley. The book also documents the Bannermans' own gardens, including Hanham Court, named top garden of 2009 by Gardens Illustrated ahead of Sissinghurst, and their more recent work at Trematon Castle. Pimpernel Press was founded in London in 2013 by Jo Christian and Gail Lynch, who set out to publish the kind of finely illustrated, beautifully produced books on gardens, art, craft, and architecture.
