This softcover edition is in fine condition, well-preserved with clean, tight pages, a firm binding, and no marks or tears. Only minimal shelf wear is evident on the covers. Overall appearance is practically new. The Wordsworth Classics (1996) edition of The Confessions by Jean-Jacques Rousseau uses a translation first printed in 1904, but the translator is anonymous.
